TUCSON (KVOA) – Fentanyl pills and several other drugs have been seized following a six-month investigation, according to a tweet shared by Tucson Police Department Tuesday.
According to to TPD, the department’s midtown/community response team completed its investigation that began in July in reference to a community complaint near Alvernon Way.
Officials say six guns, 3,000 fentanyl pills and more than four ounces of meth, cocaine and heroin were yielded in connection to the investigation.
According to Tucson Police Department, 32-year-old Joshua Martin Nunley was arrested on Friday in connection to the incident.
He was charged with five counts of narcotic drug possession, five counts narcotic drug for sale, one count of dangerous drug possession, one count of dangerous drug for sale, two counts of transferring narcotics, one count of child abuse and one count of trafficking in stolen property.
TPD said there were additional “peripheral” arrests made in connection to the investigation. However, Nunley was identified as the primary suspect.
