2007 marked the inception of Tucson-Az, an online news platform dedicated to delivering accurate, unbiased information about the happenings, culture, and community of Tucson, Arizona. Born from a commitment to fill a void in local news coverage, Tucson-Az has since become a trusted source for residents and visitors alike, providing a comprehensive window into the region’s pulse.
Our journey began with a small team of passionate journalists and locals who recognized an information gap in the digital landscape. As we grew, we witnessed significant milestones, from our first breaking news story to our expansive coverage of local events and issues. Our achievements include being the first to report on key developments that shaped Tucson’s trajectory, earning us a reputation for reliability and thoroughness.
Tucson-Az exists to serve as a beacon of transparency and clarity in an ever-evolving news landscape. Our core values are rooted in integrity, accountability, and a deep commitment to the community we represent. We strive to fulfill our mission by providing a platform where the voices of Tucson can be heard, and where the truth is upheld without prejudice.
The impetus for creating Tucson-Az was the recognition that local news was being overshadowed by larger, less personal narratives. We saw a need for a dedicated space where the unique stories of Tucson’s residents, businesses, and events could be covered with the depth and attention they deserve.
