TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — UPDATED 1:28 p.m.
The National Weather Service extended its Flood Advisory until 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
There was risk of small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall in parts of Pima County.
Heavy rain was expected due to thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service issued a Dust Storm Warning at 12:43 p.m. It lasts until 1:45 p.m.
A wall of dust was moving at 15 mph west of SaddleBrooke north of Avra Valley and 11 miles northeast of Santa Rosa.
The dust is restricting visibility to less than a quarter of a mile.
Affected areas include Eloy, Avra Valley, Picacho, Chui-Chu, Picacho State Park, Red Rock, Cactus Forest, Cockleburr, North Komelik, Kohatk, Jack Rabbit, Shopshk and East Chui-Chu.

The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Advisory that lasts until 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The advisory covers parts of Pima County. Minor flooding, thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected.
Areas include Arivaca, South Sasabe Road and West Arivaca Road.
UPDATED 11:39 a.m.
A cluster of thunderstorms is expected to impact portions of south central Pima County until noon.
Radar has been tracking a cluster of storms 14 miles north of Arivaca, 23 miles northwest of Tubac and moving northwest.
Expect wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour and pea sized hail.
The storm is expected to remain over mainly remote areas of the county, including a portion of Route 286.
If driving or outdoors, seek shelter during heavy rainfall and lighting.

Mostly clear to start the day, then becoming mostly cloudy with a 40% chance for storms in Tucson this afternoon and evening.
Storm chances go down slightly for the weekend, but daily showers and thunderstorms will be present each afternoon, with best chance over the mountains and southeast of Tucson.
High temperatures will remain near to slightly below normal.
